PRESENTATIONS


All of the following programs are one-hour presentations that SDPC is educating the San Diego community on. For more information about these presentations, please send an e-mail to admin@sdpc.org.

 

These programs are co-delivered by a team of law enforcement, prevention, and treatment organizations & professionals all coming together to add their insights and perspectives to the following topics.



1. "Meth360" is an innovative program that exists to unite communities for a critical cause - - the prevention of methamphetamine use and abuse.  This presentation educates people in San Diego on our growing problem with methamphetamine. Included at the end of this program is a short presentation on prescription and over-the-counter drug abuse. 2. "Latino360" (A Través Del Cristal Meth) brings Meth360 to the Hispanic community, with a new presentation specifically tailored to reflect the unique needs of the Spanish-speaking community in the U.S. This program encourages parents, community leaders, and concerned adults to educate themselves on the dangers of meth.

 


3. "Parents360" (Parents: You Matter!) is a dynamic, community education program that introduces parents and other influencers of children to helpful tools and resources for drug and alcohol prevention and early intervention.



4. "Youth360" (wreckED) is a teen-oriented susbtance abuse prevention education presentation program that aims to teach teens (15-19 years old) about the realities and consequences of substance use.
