The Marijuana Policy Council is a united a team of local authorities and advocates dedicated to raising awareness in the community about the social, health, and economic consequences of marijuana use. The Marijuana Policy Council monitors current trends in drug policies and mobilizes resources to address the threat of permissive changes at the federal, state and local levels of government.


Mission

Reduce marijuana use in San Diego County, especially among youth, and reduce the negative personal and community consequences caused by marijuana use.
Goal 1. Change perception of harmlessness of Marijuana use.
Goal 2. Increase community awareness and recognition of MPC as the community advocate for legislation that promotes safe and healthy communities.
